Join us every friday with the Randwick sustainability team for a work session to help us plant, weed, and compost. We break for morning tea together and socialise over lunch, you’ll also share in the bounty of any harvest!
Please bring own gloves, morning tea and/or lunch. Bring gardening hand tools too if you have them (secateurs, trowel, weeder).
There are different areas in the award-winning Randwick Sustainability Hub to work in depending on your interests and expertise. You need to chose which garden you want to work in, but you can choose a different garden from week to week.

Permaculture Garden and Food Forest
Joining the Permaculture Garden and Food Forest is perfect for those that are interested in growing fruit and vegetables. Over the course of a year, you will learn about regenerative agriculture concepts and there is also the opportunity to learn specialist skills like worm farming, composting, seed saving, propagation and pruning.

Native Habitat and Bush Tucker Garden
Joining the Native Habitat and Bush Tucker Garden is perfect for those that are interested in bush tucker and maintaining native habitat, especially to protect our smaller critters.
Learn all about raised veggie beds, native habitat and food forestry all through the lens of a permaculture philosophy.
